The last of POTB's ex-SP SD9s, 4406 slowly rusts away at the end of the line in Tillamook.

Looking like an SP local train in the late 1950s, an tourist train on POTB rolls northward in summer 1991.

An eastbound passenger special crosses the Nehalem River in Oregon's Coast Range during fall 1991. The curve across the river marks the northernmost point reached by Southern Pacific.

Port of Tillamook Bay revisited. Nearly a decade after the washouts that severed the lines connection out of Tillamook, former SP 5418 shows its SP heritage as the POTB plain peels.
